As you all know, Deacon/Brother Pat White is fighting hard against his cancer. It was so good to see him at our recent Octoberfest knowing what an effort it was for him to come.
Recently, Pat has been really having a difficult struggle. Would you please keep him in your prayers? In particular tomorrow morning at 8:30 Pat has a bone marrow test that is very important in his treatment.
Each Tuesday morning we pray the Rosary for Pat, Kay, and their family, and others who are challenged with health issues. The Rosary will be said at St. Bridget Church, following morning Mass (about 8:30 am). Please consider joining us at Mass and the Rosary to follow. If you are unable to attend, please say a prayer at that time for Brother Pat.
Many of you who were at the November member meeting heard about our campaign to help the Special Olympics through participation in the 2022 Polar Plunge. All of the funds raised go directly to the Special Olympics VA in support of the year-round activities of over 23,000 athletes of all abilities. Please consider supporting this cause with a donation and/or an email to your friends and family to help increase the reach of this fundraising effort.
If you would like to join the fundraising effort, you can start your own fundraising page by navigating to the same page above, choose the JOIN TEAM button, and create an account. All donations to your page will be reflected in both your individual total and the team total.
