Dear Brothers,
Please see below the email from Christine Homan with VBS. I’m so pleased to report that we have set a new collection record at 22 Units. It beats the old record, since my tenure as coordinator, one by one unit. It is also up significantly from the 12 units we collected at the last blood drive.
I realize that not everyone is able to donate blood, and sometimes the timing is not right to give, but I want to personally thank everyone in our council for your support of this effort. I received wonderful feedback and interest from all of you, which makes my efforts even more worthwhile. Do you know that we can SAVE up to three lives with each unit of blood donated? That’s a staggering thought for me to comprehend, as well as significantly meaningful.
A special thanks to our Brothers Jose, Randy, Ro, Gary and Sam; I hopefully didn’t overlook anyone! Please chime in if I missed you. Thank you!!!

I am so sorry to be slow in responding. I was at Colonial Heights High School all day yesterday. The St. Bridget blood drive did awesome!! We registered 23 people and collected 19 whole blood and one double = 22 units! I definitely think everything you did helped a lot! Thank you! Please let me know any feedback you have for me and thoughts about 2016. Below are some dates for 2016 (I could not remember if I sent them yet) Let me know if they work.
