March for Life — Virtual Pilgrimage 2021

From: Armando deLeon
Date: Tue, Jan 26, 2021 at 10:22 AM
Subject: Pro Life Activities

I have listed our Mass for Life from the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and other activities from the Archdiocese of Miami, my home diocese, which include numerous activities, a holy hour, masses and other events in which we can all participate as members of the universal Church.

At a time when so many legislatures are attempting to take a step backward with government funding of abortion and easing of abortion restrictions, our diligent and fervent prayers are needed to respect life – from conception to natural death.

March for Life — Virtual Pilgrimage

The Virtual Pilgrimage 2021 features:

  • Richmond Diocese Mass for Life on Thursday, at 7:00 PM p.m., live streamed from the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Bishop Barry Knestout.  https://richmonddiocese.org/livestream/;
  • Holy Hour for Life with Miami Archbishop Thomas Wenski, Thursday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m., live streamed from the Cathedral of St. Mary in Miami (https://www.facebook.com/stmarymiami/);
  • A Vigil Mass for Life also on Thursday, at 8:30 p.m., live streamed from the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington. D.C. (https://www.nationalshrine.org/mass/);
  • The youth rally and Mass for Life, Friday, Jan. 29 at 8:30 a.m., live streamed from Washington. D.C. (http://youthrallyandmassforlife.org/);
  •  The official pre-march rally at noon, Jan. 29, followed by the march at 1 p.m., all live streamed from the National Mall in Washington, D.C.;
  • On Wednesday, Jan. 27, Archbishop Wenski of Miami also will celebrate the noon Mass at St. John Vianney Seminary in Miami, which will be live streamed at //www.sjvcs.edu/prolifemass; and
  • On Friday, Jan. 29, at 7:30 p.m., the Archdiocese of Miami will host a live streamed reflection for high school youths with Father Manny Alvarez, pastor of Little Flower Church in Coral Gables, and Rosemarie Banich, archdiocesan director of Evangelization and Parish Life. Register at: https://conta.cc/2LwiKch.

Let us make our March for Life a holy and fulfilling event this year!

Deacon Armando

2021 March for Life on January 29

Email from Mike:

Below is the link for the 2021 March for Life on January 29. Unfortunately, there is no K of C or Diocesan bus transportation this year. So, if folks want to attend in-person, they will have to make private arrangements. If registering for updates, you will be provided information for virtual events such as the Rose Gala. If all else fails, I’m sure, as in past years, EWTN will be providing coverage all day and will also be televising the Masses from the Shrine, the Vigil the evening before around 6:00 pm and the Mass in the morning at 7:30 am. I will forward exact times when I have them. Here is the link:

Thanks for posting!

Mike K.

P.S. Also working on the possibility of a Respect Life Holy Hour on Tuesday, January 26, from 5:30-6:30 pm Please stay tuned
