Into the Breach Update 09/24/21

Call to battle/ revised schedule in November and December.

Gentlemen,

We had a great discussion about Sacramental Life in last night’s Into the Breach program.  We were reminded that the grace we receive from the sacraments strengthens us to fight our spiritual battles.

Therefore, as a Call to Battle this month, the group decided that we would all meet at St Bridget Church from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on October 12th for Confession and Adoration.  We hope that many of you will be able to join us.

On a separate note, we noticed the fourth Thursday of November and December conflict with our Holiday schedules.  Therefore, for those two months, we will move our meeting dates back to the third Thursday of both months; November 18th and December 16th.  A reminder will go out at the beginning of each month.

I hope everyone has a blessed weekend!

K of C Meeting Space Change for Council 5476

Ron Campbell moving Knight’s of Columbus gear from the Rectory basement.

It’s official – after many years of being able to enjoy our own meeting space in the basement of the church rectory, the Knights of Columbus Council 5476 at St Bridget Catholic Church are being relocated. Our new meeting area will be in the basement of the church hall. More information will be disclosed at the Member Meeting on September 13th, which will be held in our new meeting space.

A huge thank you to Ron Campbell and his wife Kela for an amazing effort to collect our belongings from the rectory for relocation into our new area. You are truly AMAZING!!! Bless you both!

St Bridget School family social back to school Picnic – Thank you KofC!

Good morning, Ron!

I want to take a brief moment to say “thank you” to the Knights in general, and you specifically. Last night’s social was a huge success…I received a tremendous number of positive comments and compliments from families (existing and prospective!) – they all shared how much they enjoyed the event. The help the Knights gave was paramount to the success!  THANK YOU!!

And…families also loved this format and are hoping to make this an annual event. 🙂

Have a blessed day and enjoy your long weekend.

CELEBRATE THE OPENING OF THE FIRST RICHMOND HOME OF MARY’S CHOICE

Brothers,

As a follow-up, below are the options for purchasing tickets to the Gala.  BTW, I’m told by the organizers that the main part of the Gala is intended to be inside at this point, but there is a large outdoor deck so folks can enjoy the outdoor setting as well if weather permits. The dress is cocktail attire.

These are the options to purchase a ticket for the Gala-

-call Ann Niermeyer 804-714-5170

-go to our website www.maryschoicerva.org and scroll to the bottom and click the donate button.  Any donation of $75 or more will automatically purchase a ticket ($150 2 tickets etc.)

-mail a check to  Mary’s Choice RVA

                            P.O. Box 17321

                             Richmond, Va 23226

We will have a list of all who have purchased tickets at the Gala as people come in so no tickets will be issued directly.

Fraternally,
