First, thank you for your wonderful support that is making these food drives so successful! This past month for St. Peter Church went very well with your help getting the word out!
Would you please help promote the upcoming Food Drive with your parish groups and teams and families and friends? The Food Drive this month will benefit the food pantry at the Sacred Heart Center and is on Saturday, May 22nd. Please note the earlier finish time at 11:00 am.
Also, we are collecting items for members of the military that are being deployed. I have attached a separate flyer for that (shown below, too).
Please help this to be a success by promoting the food drive in your family, with friends, and St. Bridget groups and networks.

The devotion to Mary, the patroness of our order, through rosary prayer, is an essential piece of faith life for every Knight. And, promoting devotion to the rosary in our families and parish is a mission we should embrace.
Thankfully, an opportunity has presented itself that will allow us to partner with St Bridget Religious Education to take our youth through a 4 week rosary journey. This journey will take place four consecutive Wednesdays in June, June 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th, from 6:30 to 7:30 each night. Each week focuses on a different set of Mysteries, with 7 stations for the participants to progress through. The stations are comprised of 1 for beginning prayers, 5 for each mystery and 1 for final prayers.
To make this event successful, we are being asked to serve as leaders of each of the 7 stations, so we are looking for a total of 7 volunteers, or more if not everyone is able to fill in for all four weeks. Wives are welcome as well should they be interested. Some setup and cleanup will be required each week so planning on a timeframe of 6:00 to 7:45 for this role should be sufficient.
We will discuss this more at the member meeting this evening, but if you are able to serve in this very worthy cause, please respond to me directly. Please let me know if you are able to server all 4 weeks or just partial dates.
Thank you one and all for getting the word out…. We netted just over $2K for our inaugural raffle to support the scholarship fund. As we were trying to raise about $1000, I say thanks to all of you!!
The raffle tickets for the Yeti Cooler and Gift Card (value $450) are now closed and the ability to buy chances are no longer on the website. We even had someone purchase tickets from as far away as Alaska, where there have been sightings of the Real Yeti from time to time.

Special thanks to Eric and Layne Barker who went above and beyond on this…securing the prizes, as well as helping with the ticket allocation. Their help was invaluable We had a really great system with this and eager to try again to bolster other areas hurt by our inability to gather this year.
