Dear Brother Knight,
A blessed Lent to you and your family!
The Saint John Paul II National Shrine invites you and your family to a Pre-Founders Day Mass and Reception on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 6:30pm. The Celebrant and Homilist for the Mass will be Fr. Jonathan Kalisch, O.P., who serves as the Director of Chaplains for the Knights of Columbus. Mass will conclude with veneration of a relic of the founder of the Knights of Columbus, Venerable Fr. Michael J. McGivney.
Following Mass will be a reception and talk by Fr. Gabriel O’Donnell, O.P., Vice Postulator for the Venerable Fr. Michael McGivney. Fr. O’Donnell will discuss Fr. McGivney’s life and update us on the cause for his canonization.
Please join us during the Lenten season for Mass and to learn more about our founder – a model for our time.
Admission is free but please RSVP at our Eventbrite page so that we can better welcome you, your family, and your Council to the Shrine. Please also invite your council chaplains.
May Venerable Fr. McGivney guide us to more prayer during this Lenten season!
