Brothers and Members of the Men’s Ministry,
Just a reminder that Carol and I will be walking in the Walk for Life to benefit the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond on Saturday, April 29, at 10:00 a.m.
It is a peaceful walk, no signs or protests, about 2 miles total on beautiful Monument Avenue. The walk begins at the Immanuel Baptist Church at the corner of Thompson and Monument. Please join us for a stroll. But, if you can’t make it, you can support the PRC with a pledge for our walk. No money due now, just provide your name, full mailing address, and the amount you’d like to pledge, and the PRC will send you a bill. No amount is too large or too small!
After the Walk for Life, K of C Council 395 provides a hot dog lunch, or head over to the French Food Festival. If you go to the FFF on Saturday, Carol and I will be serving beer from 1:30 until 4:30, come by and say howdy.
Thanks and Cheers!
Fraternally, Mike K.
Families Walking for Families
This is a fun, non-competitive two-mile walk in which the proceeds go to support the services of the PRC of Metro Richmond. Walkers of all ages are encouraged to participate! (Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.) It’s easy and fun – we hope you will join us!
It’s easy and fun to get involved…
Step2: Ask EVERYONE you know to sponsor you. You will be amazed how many will say YES!
Step 3: Please be sure all names and addresses are complete and easy to read. Bring your completed pledge form(s) the day of the WALK (or walk on your own and mail it in). We’ll handle the billing.
