Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympics

Worthy Grand Knights and Brothers all,

The Polar Plunge season benefiting Special Olympics of Virginia is underway.  This year there are 5 plunges scheduled:

Saturday, February 4th in Virginia Beach

Saturday, February 18th in Radford

Saturday, February 25th in Dumfries

Saturday, February 25th in Richmond

Saturday, March 11th in Charlottesville

For information on all the Polar Plunges, check this link  http://polarplunge.com/ or contact Chan Mohney (Richmond) at navajo0549@gmail.com or Dave Lewis (Arlington) at davidlewis@verizon.net

The biggest Polar Plunge, by far, is happening this Saturday in Virginia Beach.  I urge you to register for the Knights of Columbus team of plungers.  Join the team, making a donation – you don’t have to go to Virginia Beach and you don’t have to plunge.  Or you can donate to any of the team members using this link

If you are in the area if Virginia Beach, come to the Polar Plunge and watch your fellow Knights jump into the freezing waters of the Atlantic Ocean for this great cause.  There will be a hospitality suite at the Hampton Inn Virginia Beach – Oceanfront North for your enjoyment before and after the plunge on Saturday.  A schedule of events at Virginia Beach is attached.

Please consider supporting Special Olympics of Virginia with your donation to the Knights of Columbus team!
