KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMASChristmas Cards and St. Bridget Church Pelican Christmas Ornaments will be sold after all Masses for two weekends only on October 1-2 and October 8-9, 2016.

This one-of-a-kind, limited edition Christmas ornament is based on the beautiful mosaic on our St. Bridget altar. It will make a fantastic gift!

Based on last year’s ornament demand, we anticipate selling out quickly.  The ornament cost is $25 and Christmas cards are $6.50-$12/box.

Cash and checks are accepted.  Please stop by the Knights of Columbus tables to make a purchase.

All proceeds will be used to support charitable causes of the Knights of Columbus and our St Bridget Parish.  Thank you!

Please let Dave and I  know if you any questions, problems or suggestions.

Thank you!

God bless,

Gary Port

A sad loss in our Council – We will Miss you Joe DeVincentis!

Brother Joe DeVincentis

Brothers Knights,

It is with great sadness that I send you this email.

Joe DeVincentis passed away last night peacefully at his house. His wife Maryann was at his side.

Joe proudly served 22 years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. Joe is the father of seven children.

Below are the DeVincentis family plans thus far.

God rest this most beautiful and honorable man!

Fraternally in Christ,

Dear Joe Junior,

Our Knights of Columbus wish to convey our deepest sympathy on the loss of your father Joseph DeVincentis.

Attached please find the specifics to your Requests for our services as Honor Guard and  Flag Folding Ceremony Requests for you beloved Father Joe.

I am including our Faithful Navigator Ed Polich on this email, who will organize  the Honor Guards and Flag Folding Team to honor your most worthy father.

So far your family plans to have a Catholic Funeral Mass at St. Bridget Church within the next 9 days based on the church’s availability. Your family has elected not to have a Wake.

The Flag Folding Ceremony is to  take place after the Mass in the Commons Area of our church.

Arrangements are being made at Arlington Cemetery for Joe’s burial.

Please keep Ed and I posted on the event times and dates as they become available.

God bless you and your family!

Fraternally in Christ,

Gary Port
