From GK Paul Kitchen

Brother Knights,

We will have our monthly Membership meeting this Thursday, Sept 17 at 6:30.

A light meal will be served at 6:30 and the meeting will begin at 7. The beer locker will remain open for the Thursday Night Football game for those who want to watch a quarter or two.

A reminder, the meals are modest and we would like to cover the cost by those attending and having dinner. Any donation is accepted but a suggested donation of $5 to $10 is suggested. That will keep us out of our Council funds and keep the refreshment locker filled.

Please review your availability for this Sunday to assist with the Parish Pancake Breakfast. We are hoping to have a flyer for a new member open house available for handout at the Mass and the Pancake Breakfast would be a good opportunity to do that as we help the other Parish committees serve our fellow parishioners.

We have also been asked to assist with the Parish Brew and Stew event on Oct 2. Please check your schedule to see if you could again join some of the other Parish committees in putting on this Parish social event.

Finally, please invite any Catholic men you know to consider joining the Knights. It is a great way to serve as you become a better Catholic, Father, Husband and Man.

Some Updates, Please Read

Please see below for info. on Diaper Drive ( Oct. 17-18) and prayer hours outside PP on Oct. 10 and Oct. 24 from 9-10 a.m.

If these events, which are occurring during the Church’s Respect Life Month, could be publicized to Men’s Ministry and the K of C that would be appreciated.

Hi All,

Thanks to Augie, we are all-systems-go on our Parish communications for the Diaper/Wipes Drive on Oct. 17-18.
Retsy, also confirming playpen for Commons. Thanks.

I have also requested a pulpit announcement the week before. Don’t know how to get that on our website…John/Augie, could you check on that? Dan?

On the 40 Days for Life, our Respect Life Committee has invited all parishioners to pray outside PP on October 10 and Oct. 24 from 9-10 a.m. Both Saturday mornings. If you are in town and available it would be great to show up.

This info. is contained in a box in upcoming Bulletins. Perhaps we could get this on the website as well. In all events, please spread the word. I will notify Mens’s Ministry and the K of C.
God Bless.
