Hello All Fish Fry Volunteers and Supporters!
You are receiving this because you helped on this year’s Fish Fry! Because of your support and generosity we did very well!
Here is a quick summary:
- We served over 350 people at the Fish Fry, and all enjoyed a delicious fish dinner. The fish was donated by Captain D’s (thank you Mark Sweeney) and the cooking was directed by our own Master Chef Alan Serafim!
- We had over 50 parishioners help sell tickets and work at the Fish Fry. Many thanks to the Liturgy Committee and the Knights of Columbus brothers that helped so much!
- We had over 25+ (it was hard to count ‘em!) St. Bridget School children volunteer to help in some way –serving, clearing, cleaning up, running for food, and more! Thank you Marie Swider and Frank Russo for coordinating the school kids involved!
- We earned about $2,800 profit from the dinner as well as the raffles and wine/beer sales. Thank you all that donated those items!
Through your generosity and good work, the Knights of Columbus fully funded the scholarships they give to St. Bridget 8th graders going on to Catholic High School, and also contributions that will be made to Right to Life causes.
Thank you again very much for your donations and your good work! I hope you will consider doing the same again next year!
Save the date: Friday, March 11th!
