The Loss of CHARLES SERAFIM, Saturday, August 2, 2014

Brothers,

As some of you may know by now, Alan Serafim’s son, Chuck, passed on from this life a week ago Tuesday.  Chuck and his family lived in North Carolina and all services were held there. A celebration of Chuck’s life was held last Sunday.  Below you will find the obituary for Chuck Serafim.  Our Council is considering a donation to the suggested charities which we will announce later.

This weekend, I will have a sympathy card available in a convenient place in the church commons for you to sign when you attend masses.  I will send instructions and location in a follow-up email.  Alan typically attends Sunday 7:30 a.m. masses. If you are able to be at church after that mass, please share your thoughts with him.  Alanhas contributed much to our Council’s founding and development.  As a Past Grand Knight, we know Alan’s strong faith is sustaining him now.

Yours in Christ,

Dale Matanic
